i would recomend a cheep one from slowboy - but ya get what you pay for
( or at least i did ) the fans i got form then are pos's. Look for a used FAL perhaps.

where did you get your j-pipe?

i picked up a j-pipe from roadrace engineering and everything fits fine with the stock fans...

my friend with some random j-pipe had this problem. just go grab a fan... it will come handy in the future if you get a external wastegate or other things that might crowd up that area.

I'm running spal 12" for radiator and 9" for AC, clearance is great, sounds good too when it comes on. I got them from buschurs along with FMIC kit but I thinkthey sell them seperately as well.

here is a shot w/out the fan. Its a JR perrot J pipe- the guy who mades the FMIC's off ebay

Wow, if you find a nice, working slim radiator fan for $100 you better tell us where! The one I am looking into costs around $300.

Are you guys serious?!?!?! $300!!!! I sell reversible FAL/Flex-a-lite slimline fans for $78. It's only 3 3/8" thick and flows 1105 CFM. Never pay over $100 for a fan!!!

Here is the info:
Flex-A-Lite Slim Radiator Fans

If you have a large-size upgrade turbo or front-mounted intercooler kit, you know it's hard to find clearance with the thick factory fans. Add-on fans are okay, but the give up cooling efficiency because of the lack of shrouding.

The FAL fan cluster solves all these problems, with a custom-sized shroud and two slim-line high-performance fans specifically designed for your 95-99 turbo Eclipse. The whole assembly is only 2 5/8" thick -- half the size of the factory fans. And the airflow is actually 25% better!
