ok so i bought a gsx last week and when ever i i get in to a low rpm and start to spool th car will jump and lose power some of my friends said it could be my pistin rings or a leaky hose in my turbo i relly dont know whats wrong with my car but i need to find out quick:dsm:

What do you mean by it "jumps"? If you mean bogs out, sounds like you have a huge boost leak somewhere. I'd go check your intercooler pipes and make sure the clamps are on good and tight. And it's always a good idea to get a real boost gauge if you don't already have one.

its either a boost leak or you need new plugs and wires.

go to home depot or lowes and make a boost leak tester for 5 bucks and find your leaks.
after you tighten them up you will notice a huge difference.

well it somkes some times blue somke espicaly after idling for a few minutes thers is quiet a bit of black residue on the exaust tips

Do a boost leak test like said above (IC Pipe Tester), and while you have the intake loose, check your turbo for shaft play, it should spin freely, but not wobble around much. And do you have to regularly add oil?

blue smoke could be the turbo goin or the piston rings

It can be as said the turbo seals or piston rings if there is blue smoke. That black on the exhaust tip is usually the car is running rich, o2 sensor. Check your ic piping also, change your plugs you might want to also do a compression test, wet down test. Check your turbo for any bad shaft play, start with the easiest(ic piping, turbo) Good luck

if it has blue smoke coming out then it's obivously a bigger problem than lose couplers.

i'd start off my check your turbo and then do a compression test. if the numbers are low or vary a lot from each other, do a wet test.

yea if its bogging deff cheak boost leak, as for the blue smoke deff bigger problem mayb turbo seals or if its more whitish smoke could be a headgasket also. do a compression test
