Can anyone help direct me to a good turbo kit for my 1g 91 gs turbo fwd please.

What do you mean by a turbo kit? Is your turbo bad? If your turbo is fine, then drive the car how it is until you have funds for a proper setup.

I really dont want used or rebuilt cause im going to upgrade, and what I have on isnt stock either I have a 20g on now with crazy shaft play

Ok cool I will do that ive heard cast iron manifolds are so much better than piped

You have to pay to play. 14b or 16g will be a direct replacement. You will just have to modify the tune to account for the smaller turbo until you can afford a proper setup. You could also have yours rebuilt. There are vendors on here that provide that service. Performance and cheap do not mix. It is your car though.

If your trying to upgrade, keep in mind all of the supporting modifications required to run it properly. On a budget (turbo only), Holset with a bolt on housing comes to mind.

Do everyone a favor and create a profile with your modifications so others can know what you have.

Is just send your turbo off to be rebuilt... Their is a supporting vendor who does an amazing job rebuilding that 20g and will even machine it and give you a bigger compressor wheel. There pretty fair in pricing and with your 20g you'll have some good options as they can turn that 20g into the first edition fp green wh oh was rated to 450 awhp. And yes you can find a cheap 2g manifold and it will flow really well. I'd suggest a fp manifold.... It will volt to your 20g and will be a good upgrade and lighter I believe then that stock 2g

Is this car your daily? These two words don't go hand in hand ....... cheap/good.......don't rush it, save your money and do it right.

If you are patient you can find stuff in the classifieds. A rebuild may be your best bet.I know what it's like to build on a budget.I have a bolt on hx35 that I don't need.It may be able to help you out.

Keep an eye out for when forced performance has that 68HTA bundle for sale. pretty good deal. Just so happen that same turbo is on sale now for a very good price.
