*I Need Help Replacing My Bad Clutch*

I have a 1993 Eagle Talon ES NT and the clutch has been bad ever since ive bought it on july 3rd. I bought a standard Duralast one from auto zone but idk how to change them out. any help?

Pick up a repair manual at Autozone for $20 or locate an FSM on eBay or Amazon.

First time I did it in a 1g the manual said tighten the clutch assembly bolts to a finishing torque of 16ft lbs....BS I did 16 and had to take the whole thing out again because it wouldn't disengage . Now not saying , to not follow factory torque specs or anything but don't be afraid to put a little extra on those bolts when following the tightening sequence .

There's going to be a lot of bolts and parts lying around. Try to thread any bolts back into place whenever possible. Here's a link on how others keep track of them:

Overall, it's pretty straight forward and not too difficult (I didn't even need the manual), just a little time consuming.

Not unless your gonna beef that thing up or plan on doing lots of burnouts with it
