replacing O2 sensor. Need some help.

I am replacing my O2 sensor on my 91 eagle talon tsi. So i am trying to find out where it is located. i kno its in the exhaust some where.

On the o2 housing right off of the turbo. It will be near the dipstick.

theres 2 theres one right off the exhaust just down from the headers and theres one further down the exhaust which is the downstream and that one is about half way back the exhaust past the cat

Seriously don't post about stuff you don't know about. 1gs only have one o2. Its in the o2 housing on turbo models. It will be in the down pipe on non turbos.

Boostinsideways is correct - 1g's only have one O2.
Rule on this forum: Don't post without verifing your statements ( or if you don't know).

And they can be a "PITA" to get out if you don't have the right wrench or o2 socket! And that dipstick placement makes it a bit troublesome to get the O2 out.

Ya, we 1ga's are the old "poke and sniff" emissions type of vehicles.

The N/T 1Gs have the O2 in the "header" or exhaust manifold (whatever you prefer) as well. It is not in the downpipe.
