Well, I bit the bullit and hit rollers today. I normally just street tune but that just wasn't happening witht he traction problems the car has. I waited there for a while since the owner thought I needed the "import guy" to be there to tune my car. They all thought I was nuts when I told them it should make 500whp on pump since they mainly do ls1s and mustangs.
First pull the car spun really badly, and danced on the dyno. I let off at 7100 where it made 470whp. The graph was really screwy looking from the wheelspin. It still gave me enough info so I made the changes that it needed and bumped the revlimiter to 8250. I got a guy to stand in my doorwell to maybe help with traction. The car still spun a bit and somehow casued that section of the log to disappear, but the car still made 500.89whp/378wtq.

I'll try to get my cammera to get the sheet up, but it made right around 500 from 6900-7400 and at 8k it is right on 480whp.
I was hoping to get some nice cold weather but it was~70deg when I dynoed. All and all its about what I expected for pump gas. I'm sure I could play with it and maybe get a little bit of power out of it since there might be a little room for timing up top but I'll save it for another day. In the mean time I'll try to get my fuel system up to spec for 35-38psi and c16. I'm definately bringing the slicks for that, LOL.

Buildwise its a Polk Performance built longblock. The head was a Polk Stage 3 that I had Don do some upgrading to. Comp101400s with FP srping kit, JM fab Race SMIM, a rev hard mani and a PT67.
23-24psi and 11 deg timing

Well I can't open up the file to take a look but Congratulations :rocks: . What kind of device are you using for tuning, DSMlink, AEM? I bet traction is really hard to come by with 500whp and FWD. Do you have anything done suspension wise to plant all that power or just slicks? Anyways congrats and good luck on squeezing even more on c16. :thumb:

Its tuned with DSMlink. Stock suspension, with a built tranny and a LSD.

I am just running a hacked 2g maf at the moment. I have a 3.5" gm maf plumbed in the uicp, but it is not hooked up. I'm waiting for the next version of DSMlink. On racegas I will probably just use the Fake Maf option.

edit: I also left out that this was on a dynojet

Those are awesome numbers on *just* 23 psi. I can't wait to see race gas, although, I am not a fan of race gas. Either way, congrats. You can update your dyno numbers under your avatar now!

Thanks guys. Even on pump uts too much power in a fwd. I found a good awd shell for sale locally but someone beat me to it by a few days. Oh well, I'm sure I'll snatch one up soon enough. Then I'll see what it will amke on e85 for daily use :D

Yah, this is on a single walbro (non HP) 950cc injectors and a stock FPR ;) The fuel is the only thing holding up the race gas stuff. I can't decide if I want to go with twin walbros or just a big bosch in line. I'll get off my can and decide soon enough and throw in some 1150s.

Any way you can get the 2 graphs overlayed of the pre101400's with this graph? Excelent numbers either way.

The graphs were done at 2 different dynos so its not possible. So much has changed though I'm not sure what it would tell you. Power sure fell of more on the old set up (from 428 at 7100 to just iver 400 at 7500 before and from 500 at 7100 to 49x at 7500). I'm sure the 20% more motor would make the low end a ton better as well, even though it still spun hard on the rollers. I'm sure Ill do my race gas tuning at that dyno though, its where I normally go. FWIW I'm uploading the sheet to my profile/dyno info now.

I was kind of curious more or less to see the power change at the begining of the graph more or less to see the change in power and streetability. It looks like my cams may get used by a buddy here in town first so i may get the info i need from him. Very impressive numbers and hopefully you keep us updated on the progress as you fine tune it.
