I have a somewhat dumb turbo question

I have a 92 Tsi and a 99 Gs. I was wondering if it's possible to take out the turbo from the Tsi and swap it over to the Gs or does the exhaust manifold not match up?

well for starters youd have to swap out alot more than just the turbo im sure you new that though

Yeah I knew that but would the manifold match up to the 420a block?

no it would not the 420a and the 4g63 are completely different

Man I thought this question was answered like 1,000,000 times already. No not only do the bolt patternsnot match from head to turbo manifold but the turbo wont bolt on to the 420a maniflod either. Also I woud like to add that the turbo is going to be facing the wrong side of the car because if have not noticed the engines are completley mirrored.
