I HAVE A DREAM! and i won't give up!... next season I will go back with the SAME setup and i WILL run a low 13

It was a stock Laser too. Now imagine if it had 400-500whp.Raph said:i did a search and came across this thread,im in the market for drag radials too..
my worst 60ft was 3.2 , my friends alway saw i sleep at the lights.. but the car stays put and spins the wheels. (have a full Koni setup)
my best 60ft was a 2.7 or something..
i was soo depressed last year at the track,im hoping to do way better this time.
then my buddy takes my car ad did a ET 0.8 secounds better than i ever did! on my car,yes using my car.. now thats depressing.
so, most people say Nitto 555s or Bfg s.. what about the Azenis?its an Autox tire but it has less grooves in it than the nottos/bfgs.. meaning more tire on the ground..??
what are you all running now/happy with/unhappywith?
but in the end its worth it.
,i also kept full throttle in first gear..mavisky said:Full throttle in 1st gear is useless. Calm down and learn some throttle control.

GSntncT said:Ah, yes. I've come to accept the disadvantage of FWD on the track long, long ago. I'd rather go from a roll anyway.
GSntncT said:Maybe for you, as I'm too damn worried about snapping something on the track again. Which is why I've not been back in well over a year.......
Now granted, I know I have to get better at that, but not at the expense of tearing my car apart....vicious cycle, but whatever.
