Okay, so my car has a spark problem i believe. it gets a nasty cutout/spark around 5k rpms and will do that in every gear. the plugs have been changed. the coil is fine. the injectors are fine 560' Evo injectors. the fuel pump is fine 255. but it still happens :( i tuned it with the SAFC but its still running like booty. im pulling alot of fuel..the wideband is 10.0 in every gear. at one point i thought the fuel pressure regulator wasnt regulating but its fine. idk what else to look for =/

Im a DSM noob so please be easy with me and not yell at me for not knowing much LOL.
:coy:
Help?

That won't cause the car to run 10:1 A/F. It has to be because of improper tune or a leak.

Bump!

Car has been down cause of work and lack of time *F the holiday and 70 hour weeks* anyway back on track....
so im back at it again. STILL the same problem. Before i parked her in the garage, i changed the plugs again and the car started running alot smoother but still had that big cut out around 5500rpms. the car slowly started choking out and from then on. every time i would come to a complete stop the car starts leaning out *wide band had the -- lines on it* and it wants to die. sometimes it dies and sometimes it tries really hard too.

I just dont understand...no boost leaks, fuel pump is fine..fuel rail, wires and injectors, fpr is fine..tune is fine..i just dont get it. i dont wanna be one of those people to give up and sell the car just cause of a (i cant figure it out) problems:banghead:

Are you sure that the SAFC is hooked up correctly and working? Almost sounds like the ecu is not seeing the MAF signal. Try cutting the power to the SAFC and see if it changes anything. Dont drive it while unhooked but see if the AFR at idle changes at all.

The shop i took it to said the safc was wired perfectly fine. I'm gonna cut the power like you said. thats a good idea, thanks:thumb: safc could be bad.

Fuel cut? Does it happen in every gear when getting into that high of boost? Is it more of a sputter or does it feel like your hitting a wall when it hits?

I didnt see a logger listed. If you have one look at the Karman frequency for the MAF. You should also be able to have the SAFC display the Karman freq. coming out of the MAF. Good luck.
