I can't believe it!

As some of you may have read I finally got my '95 GSX running. I took it it over hwy 17(in California, the highway that it drove 3 years ago to set up its retirement aka blow out) yesterday to drop my mom off at her parents house. Good news is it didn't leak a single drop of coolant or oil and was running perfect. Bad news was that I didn't have a chance to get it registered after passing smog at 1PM yesterday. I figured showing the police the papers would be good enough till Monday(if I even got stopped). While I did get stopped and ended up getting my car impounded. So yesterday went like this: 1:30, Passes Smog, 4:30, Vehicle Impounded. And when I get it out Monday the cost for towing and 4 days storage will be a hair under $500. I can't believe my luck..

I heard in Cali if you don't have the emissions sticker they can impound your car... Here its a $25 ticket but most of the times its a warning... Note to self: Don't move to Cali.

It was 3 years 3 months overdue haha but still bfd I showed the cop the papers saying it passed smog 3 hours prior. The DMV ain't open 24/7. Tomorrow I have to deal with this crap its gunna take me at least half of the day. At least then I will have my beautiful fully-loaded 100% stock pristine GSX to drive. I wanna get a license plate holder that says Diamond Star on the top and 4G63T on the bottom.
