those white and yellow hoses will go as the other cover hoses as well idint care to much messin with them today ### i wanted to get most of the work done. but everythings turnin out good so far except minor mishaps

The only way you have a 2g block in a 1g is if there are only 2 mounts, the driver and passenger side. The 2g block has no holes for the front and rear motor mounts. You have a 1g 7-bolt.

Lol is that your car in your avatar? Atleast it wont get shot when your hunting hahahaha/

THere is no way you have a 2g block in your car.

well im learnin as i go I usually mess wit my cobalt and gott this as my new car since my bro talked so highly of it, the paint will be changed as soon as we get it running. we used a torque wrench and still broke it 65fp

did you get new head bolts? the 11mm head bolts are TTY, they are only good for one use by the book.

brand new ones yeah and i broke one off in the head as the picture above. but before that the first time i went to autozone and they gave me head bolts but said it was for my talon 93 tried them and they wouldnt tightin took em back and brought my old head bolt and said it came from a 95 block thats why i said that.

from what I see in my Victor Reinz 2003 torque spec book....

vin F 93-99 L4-122-MPI-T
Final Torque is 53ft/lbs

so if you did torque them to 65, you over torqued them causeing them to strech and break.

i feel you on that but the ES1175 bolts wouldnt fit in my block they where to fat around thats why i had to go back, there the ones where you had the hex in the middle an the 95 and up had the 12 socket one which is the one i used. i got the hynes book and it said 65 to 70 for the head. so now im confused. i been had the book and been following it from jump. as of now we need a new timing belt ### the one i have is to small and be have it on but the tentionor wont go on because its tight as it is, and therm gasket.

sounds like you have a 2g block with the 11mm bolts

the tourque you used is for the 1g with the 12mm head bolts

so it sounds like you "think" you have a 1g engine, but the more you tell, it sounds like you have a 2g

LOL i told you i had a 2g block the guy who gave me the first set said it was the one for the 93 but then got the 95 and looked it up and found out the block was a 2g with a 91 head. got me by surprise also. at first i thought it was a 93 also till i found out yesterday. so now what is the torque specs for the 95?

^^^Like he said the listing is wrong. They gave you 6 bolt bolts. Screw fel pro. OEM is 35 bucks???

But the paint, I have a 99 tiburon that is antifreeze green. Its hideous, I feel your pain.
