ECMlink I can not reach 4000 RPM

I always start out with a 2g map. Its less aggressive, timing wise and 10.0 is pretty dam rich. The suggestion to change those SD Table cells to 10.8 is a good one and still rich/safe. ✌️

Is there a place to download them? How to get SD tables or AFR tables?

ECMLINK has stock tables to start with here.

You would want the 2g table, as circled in red.

Start by changing the cells that say 10-10.2 to 10.8 and then go do another WOT pull and see how your AFR's respond. You should have no trouble there and should be able to get above 4000rpm. If you're really concerned, changed your knock light to come on at 1-2deg of knock retard. Don't anticipate that with 95oct and 10.8AFR but it's a good safety net.

Probably has nothing to do with your issue, but I was having issues getting above 6k. I pulled my fuel filter yesterday and that thing was so clogged that I couldn't blow thru it. Changed it and viola, 9k again. :thumb:

I don't drive my car very often, maybe 200 km in 3 years, so I've had all the maintenance done, from injectors to gaskets, using original parts. But this problem is really starting to annoy me. I don't know if I should go back to using a MAF sensor.

IMO, I would never go back to MAF. SD on 2 of my 3 DSM's. :thumb: The only reason the 3rd one isn't is because its my stock 1990 GSX.

please tell me what I am going to do at this situation ? I had evo 8 ecu and it was same issue. I bought an evo 8 injectors from USA and he was scammer he sold me broken knock sensor with this evo 8 560cc injectors I am doubt about these injectors. Did you see something wrong on injectors?

I really don't know what else you're after here. Before 4000rpm, your log looks great. WBFactor is pretty reasonable and nothing looks out of sorts. Duty cycles are low, knock is not a problem. Its falling on its face at 4000rpm because its getting so much fuel because the table that I mentioned multiple times above is requesting that much fuel. Change the table so it's not asking for so much fuel, enable your knock cel and set it for say 2deg knock retard and go try again. If you're not going to try those things then there's no sense coming here and asking for a magic 8 ball answer.

Relax sir i really don t want to waste your time. I really want to fix this issue i changed the VE tables it gone better i can see 4335 rpm right now. I have attached the results and it same at 4335::( i gain 200 rpm than previous log:) i got this log file within 30 minutes ago..I put he 2g dsm AFR targets and i did some adjustment on VE table. I open your VE table opinions alo:)

Yeah that would say alot. All sensors need to be in good working order for it to run correctly or even try to tune it, so see if it will adjust manually and show 100% (5v) at WOT. You can take a log without the car actually running so you can see if it changes or not.

It does appear that your throttle is not fully opening. Test in ecmlink with ignition on and car off and push throttle all the way to the floor (make sure there is no carpet getting stuck behind the throttle) and see what the min/max reading is. Additionally looks like you changed the VE table AND the maxoctanetable. Put the VE table back to the way it was in the "wb" log. Your maxoctane table moved the wrong direction, its now asking for more fuel. Change the table so that the lowest value in your table is 10.8 and try again.

I won't thread jack, but look at what AI gave me when I pulled up an email notice about your problem.
This is why I DO NOT TRUST AI ONE BIT. Its saying the opposite of what this thread really has going on.
See for yourselves, then continue on with the thread.
Thanks,
Marty

i am sorry sir for extra threads i thought it was different issue on my car. i will do what you said.

No no no sir. This actually had nothing to do with you and your problem. I was monitoring it and got a notification that someone had added to your post. AI GAVE ME the overview of the thread, which was completely the opposite of what we were all discussing.
You continue on with your documentation and ask questions as needed. That's what we are all here for. I was just complaining about AI, not you or the thread.
✌️
Please Continue.

okthen i will paste the old “WB” named VE tables so what about AFR table? i used the 2G AFR Tables so it s ok with this AFR tables?

I am not on my computer at the moment, so I cannot view your log, but yes post it.

hello friends
first of all i would like to thank all of you..how did i miss one thing about fuel pressure i don t know:( when unplug the aem fuel pressure regulator vacuum line for adjusting i saw 65 psi at gauge. i said myself what kind of stupid are you:( then i adjusted to 38 psi and i plug the vacuum li e it showed 30-33 psi. car is back to old memories but i realize one thing car was so fast at first gear but other gear’s acceleration is not like first gear. my wideband sensor is gone it was new but i see 14.7 all the time it s zt2.i think still needs adjustments when i buy a new wide and sensor (4.2) i will share the results.🙏🙏🙏🙏

After a long time, the only solution I could think of was to return everything to the stock setup. I've realized that you can't really trust anyone anymore.

I put my car back to stock settings: stock fuel pump, stock fuel pressure regulator, 1G MAF, and my 1991 ECU with ECMLink installed. I did a WOT pull, but the problem was still there.

I immediately got out of the car and installed my 1990 ECU instead. The car ran better than it ever has, and the AFRs were perfect. Two years of my time were wasted.

Now I'm trying to figure out where the problem is. Is it the ECU itself or ECMLink? When I have some free time, I'm going to install my old EPROM chip and test it. If the same issue happens with that chip as well, I will understand ecu is gone or if it s ok I will blame the ECMLink

My question is: is my ECMLink still under warranty? If I provide all of my logs and evidence, would ECMLink be willing to help me investigate this issue?

This situation is incredibly frustrating. I don't even know whether I should be more upset about the time I've lost or all the effort I've put into diagnosing this. I'm still not trying to blame anyone, but this issue has existed ever since I installed ECMLink. You've also reviewed my tune/settings before, so I wanted to share these latest findings.

You should have returned it to stock 2 years ago to see if it would run normal.

Always easier to remove variables to help diagnose an issue
you are right but i never blame the ecmlink by the way i have checked the recipt time i bought it on march 2025
