Ok, so as i am trying to tune the other day, i started to get knock and run leann above 4500 rpms, and i could not change it. I added tons of ffuel up there, and subtraced some and pretty much just did trial and error to try to get my fuel mixture stoich.
Now, before the tuning sesion, my friend told me that my safc settings were slightly wrong. He insisted that the cylinder mode should be set on "4 cylinder," so he changes it from 2 (which i believe my 1g is supposed to be on) to 4.
Now when i go to monitor window, the rpm is way different than what it actualy is. my querstion is this:
Does the safc tune by what rpm its reading? and is this why i cant get any tuning above 4500 rpm?
ps, its running lean, hitting fuel cut, pulling my timing, and im getting up to 12 some knock on 18 psi.
