Think I'm going to go the hx35 route with my build ....however after reading all the info on here I was am curious as which hx35 to go with. I have seen 6 blade and 7 and 8 blade models. Which would be the most desireable to go with the bep .55 housing.... Any input would be helpful

There is no 6blade HX35.

IF your going to run the bep .55 housing, you might as well just get a 56mm 8 blade HX35 or WH1C, as the extra airflow a 54mm 7 blade can produce would never be used.

You could also run a big H1C, as both of those would save you some money on the purchase price, and would still net almost the same power. They also have a nifty vband that holds the compressor housing on. Makes it easier to work on.

My friend got his rebuilt kit for his common rail cummins for 90 dollars from a diesel performance shop. Going to a diesel shop is probley going to be your best bet.
