Just got the BEP housing and it doesnt fit the hx35W I have. I can't even install the heatshield.

The HX35 has two rings in a shape of a step. It measures

Outer ring 81.88 mm
Inner ring 80.94 mm

The BEP has the same step shape. It measures

Outer ring 80.56mm
Inner ring 74.86 mm

Can someone please confirm this?

The BEP is a used unit and the holset is a brand new unit

I just read that I need to beat the housing in. Is that for real?

They're normally a little stubborn to get into the new housing- make sure the lip inside the housing is clean and free from rust scale, then aid the installation with a little grease or anti-seize.

Make sure you have the turbo clocked how you want in before installing it into the housing because once it's in there, it's not moving. Once it's positioned you should be able to gently pull the turbo into the housing using the hold-downs. Be sure you do this evenly of you will bind and eventually bend the turbine, ruining the turbo.

Ok here's the deal. The beo housing lip is about 5mm deep and the holset part thats supposed to go in it is lets say 10mm. So i have some of it sticking out the bep housing

I have a problem as well. I have an HX40 which has a 6 bolt housing and I ordered a bep t3 .70a/r housing for it and the one in the pictures at strictlyimportmotorsports.com is also a 6 bolt at least in the picture. What I got has only 4 bolts. Is this right? Did they send me the wrong item?
