Terrace,
I have a 91 talon TSi Awd and for the past couple months ive had a problem with my idle though it doesnt happen everytime. During idle the rpm goes up to 2k and back to 1.5k and does this back and forth. This happens at any time not just during starting. I can be going 100km/h and let right off the gas and the rpm will cycle. Any ideas?

Thx,

Very common problem...i just fixed mine last week. Check the seals on the TB, my o-ring on the idle set screw was leaking but it could be a couple of other sensors that the link below discusses. You might also want to clean the TB with some carb cleaner if you haven't done that in awhile.

Check out this site it should help you http://www.dsm.org/how-tos/tttt/tttt3.html

Would one of these sensors be directly behind the tb, connected to the throttle plate itself? If so what do I change.

I cleaned my tb out and put it back together but noticed a connection behind the tb, right beside the throttle plate. When I disconnected it the hunting stopped. Is this ok or should I leave it connected?

Recently the plug covering the BISSS fell out and I had a gaping hole that sucked air and I lost all boost. I got a new plug from mopar and have full boost but if the lack of the plug caused the loss of boost would that mean that the BISSS is not there? I didnt notice the screw in the hole.
