I know you have to remove the plastic covers like the one circled in the picture. How do you take these covers off, do you need a certain tool? I attempted to take one off with just my hands and a flat head screw driver but the screw driver started to bend the plastic. I just want to make sure I remove them correctly so I don't crack them and have to hunt down new ones. Also is there anything else I need to do other than remove the 4 bolts to take out the seats? Please excuse the dirty interior, I haven't had a chance to clean the car since I bought it.

You don't even need a screwdriver, use your hand and grab the long side of the plastic and peel it back.

You've got a leather seat so there will be two connections that power the motor, you'll need a small flat head screwdriver or a pick to remove them because they can be a PITA.

Yeah they are pretty flexable
Don't be afraid to use a little muscle
Shouldn't be to hard

All it has holding it on is a couple little tabs sticking into a slot on the seat rail. If you look in the crack you can see exactly where they are at.
You'll have more trouble with the electrical connections than the plastic covers.

I grabbed a seal puller and came up from underneath to remove it. It was just the first thing I grabbed from my tool bag.

I just removed the seat out of my 03 galant in order to transport a long block in the pinch. Had to wrestle it in the car. When your 280lbs of twisted steal and sex appeal it's easy to do
