- I have always Always ALWAYS wanted one of these cars. I Bought this car from an idiot for $1500. Idiot because he said motor was freshly rebuilt. Also an idiot because he made so many gaskets out of sealant. Anyways got 1 mile down the road and motor started knocking. I shut it off and a coolant hose exploded. Steam and coolant everywhere and 100 miles away from home. I Ripped up the title and left it at a Hardee's and 2 days later went back and towed it with triple A. My then girlfriend and now wife got me thinking that even if it did run I did not want a stock engine anyways. So a rebuild would have been inevitable. Got another title and pulled the motor. The only good things about the car 6 bolt bottom, 7 bolt head, Greddy bov, Greddy boost controller, Greddy turbo timer, nice 14b, and new top BUT the rear window was glued in and I hate that! So a new black top will be installed later. The front seats look like a couple bears banged it out in them. They may be replaced with celica or rsx seats. March 18 I picked up an entire gsx drivetrain for $550. Deleted the spoiler and antenna. Going through the entire undercarriage with chassis saver at the moment then starting with AWD drivetrain and suspension.
