Sorry if not in right section, feel free to move if necessary.

Alright, so I have a 1995 Eclipse GST and I need to know if anyone has taken out the Cam Positioning sensor on it. Mine is broken, and I dont want to remove the intake gear, because I have already timed it twice since the rebuild. So I was wondering of anyone has pictures of the removal process.

thanks in advance.

Unless you can find a way to get the gear off without loosening/removing the timing belt?

You don't have to re-time it. You'd turn the engine to tdc for a frame of reference on the cams to make sure you don't slip timing, zip tie the cams to the timing belt, insert the timing belt tensioner tool, remove the intake cam gear, swap sensors, re-install intake cam gear, remove tensioner, and then verify you didn't slip timing. Basically same thing you do for a cam swam.

Do you have a picture of this tensioner tool? Because I do not have this. Also do you think id be able to unscrew the cam just enough get a wrench in there?
