Goal is to remove the fluid reservoir from the car so I can bench bleed my new master cylinder. I've pumped most of the fluid out of the reservoir and removed the two bolts attaching it to the firewall, but the low fluid level sensor connector has me stymied :(!

Spent time with it last night and some more just now. Short of cutting wires, what's the trick for disconnecting that thing? Or am I going about reservoir removal the wrong way?

==================================================

Regarding bench bleed, the manual says to bleed one MC line port at a time using your finger to prevent air entry. Does the technique of attaching hoses to both ports with the other ends inserted into the reservoir fluid also work with this MC?

PRess it out i used a screwdriver, or something but its only a clip, it will slide right off.
Thanks, by lying over the engine from the front and continuing to work at it, I finally got it apart. Here's what the harness connector looks like -- corrosion city! Guess I've got some cleaning to do :(.

Any input on my MC bleeding question -- fingers Vs submerged hoses?

Brake pedal assembly? Brake pedal is fine, I was asking about the fluid reservoir. Am still asking about the bench bleed :)!

PS. Oh, I get it, you didn't read my post or look at the photos. OK, I've added the word "fluid" to the title, sorry about that :)!
