brake reservoir

i'm about to order a new brake reservoir, its for 96 with abs delete. common sense says order the "non abs" reservoir, but for the life of me i cant think of what the difference would be

Externally and functionally, there is no difference. The ABS unit however, has a filter that the NON-ABS unit does not have.

Is there an advantage to either?

One has a screen filter, while the other doesn't. A filter can screen out larger contaminant particles. I suppose the advantage of not having a filter is that it is marginally lighter.
