could I expect to get for used OEM head components? Specifically, lifters, valve springs and retainers, camshafts, cam gears, and a valve cover with one of the spark plug cover holes broken. 2g Talon, 97k miles on them.

Probably nothing. I have a lot of brand new OEM head stuff from a parts car I had. New valves, head gasket, head bolts, etc but nobody ever seemed interested. Maybe I could give it all away, but it would still be hard to find someone that wants the crap.

Do some searching around for the typical going price. You can search the classifieds, DSMtrader.com, craigslist, ebay, etc. This is getting close to a for sale ad in the forums.
