Just bought a 1992 Eclipse GSX for $3300. Has 100k miles on it and needs some work, but overall it's in good condition. Has exhaust, rims, SAFC, boost gauge, data logger, and shift light with it. Came with a Palm Pilot!

Bought mine new: 92 TSI AWD with leather, cassette and EQ, and the A/C PW PDL package- sticker was $20,020 when new but I think I paid about $18500. My first new car and still have it.

Everything dealing with maintainence the car has been kept up with (I have all the reciepts, even the ones i did), no problems whatsoever. Check em out on my profile. 6 bolt swap for a 420a? probably not a great idea. And anyway, Those motors did'nt have a crankwalk or strength problem that I know of. You'd probably be better off putting some forged pistons and rods in it if you're gonna do anything.

paid 5800 for my 96 gs-t with 92k miles in portland oregon and just tonight i picked up a 95 gsx for 4000 in longview WA needs work though the engine is knocking really bad and the body kit needs painting but the interior is almost perfect

Well i would put forged pistons in and rods but I know the 6-bolt more than the chrysler motor also I can do more with a turbo Engine.Thanks for the advise though.

Around 2001 I got my first DSM which was a 91 laser 1.8 for $1500.near the end of 2003 it smoked so bad I drove it to a used car lot and killed the engine before I got in the parking lot so it wouldn't be blowing smoke.Traded it in on a 97 Spyder GS that they got me for $7,800 before all the fun stuff...something around $13,000 after interest and warranty and its starting to smoke now,still have 18 months of payments..warranty gone.
This last summer I bought a 92 GS with a shot ECU and no battery for $300...another $300 and it will be running.
