How much boost will a HKS SSQ BOV take?

How much boost will a HKS SSQ BOV take? From the research I'v done everyone seems to think very highly of it. I would really love to be able to use one BOV all the way to my goal of 450 hp. SO, is the HKS SSQ BOV up to the task? Would it work with a Injen Intake?

I'm all the way for the HKS SSQV. i have ran it on a t25 14b 16g and now my Holset HX35 with no leaking issues and it has seen boost all the way to 38 psi sounds great. but my buddy with a hx35 is using a greddy type s and he has his screw tightened all the way down and has only ran 25 psi.

I've had a hks, greddy type-s, turboxs, 1g bov, and I cant tell you how much I miss my HKS. Its an awesome BOV, I just have to save the money to get another one soon

I agree but it HAS to be vented. I have mine recirculated and I get flutter while on low boost but a very nice whistle mixed with a whoosh under higher boost.

Lol whats up with the old thread revivals. I scored a 1st Gen Bov for 15 bucks a few weeks after I decided to get the HKS. I custom made an adapter for it and have been happily boosting at 15 psi since then. Whenever I upgrade my turbo I can do the Dodge mod to it so it will take 30 psi, it's best BOV you can get for the money. There's still lots of great info on here, but sadly it strongly show cases my noobieness at the time.

Ran 39psi of boost through one on my 2g car. And made 713awhp on one of my cars, While using an hks ssqv with no problems aswell.

Ran a HKS SSQV, and it compressor surged on me. I was very disappointed that it would only sound and open correctly under considerable boost. I didn't think you could get flutter from a pull type, o well.

I went with an NGR Type S. Best bov I have had so far. It actually beats the Greddy Type S.

I just got the new hks sqv 3, im runnin 27 psi and its working amazing i used to have a greddy type s and it made boost leak through the turbo now it doesnt do it at all you should easily good for 450 with it!!!
