How long to let the turbo cool down after drive?

How long should I let my car run after I drive to avoid hurting the turbo? I know some people just shut the car off, does it depend on if your beating on it or just normal driving? Is a turbo timer really that important, or is it just for people that don't want to wait in the car?

u dont need to wait !! Ours turbos are cooled by watter and u dont need to wait till its cooled .
But if u have a turbo that is not cooled by watter that u have to wait like 2-8min after hard drive .

Do the rules change for the '90s DSMs that are air cooled? Is a 30 second to 2 minute cool down for spirited driving still recommended?

What about for normal driving with little in the way of boost? Is any cool down needed then for a 90?
