How Is My Friend Breakin' All 4 Lose On An Awd???

if AWD wont burn out then Im seeing something...I always thought unless you had alot of power you werent breaking the 4 wheels of a DSM loose on a launch. well my friend proved me wrong. he has a 95 talon awd and with just an intake pipe and filter when he launches the car it spins and pulls hard. hes a pretty good driver and is not dumping the clutch rather slipping it fast from around 4500 and then gunning it spinning all 4 wheels. someone please explain how this is happening and if this is even possible .

Launch it at 7k -- it will break the tires loose

its very easy to brake loss, there are many reason, some people are just making that much power and some just dont know how to drive.

i brake all 4 loss of the line if i do launch carefully, i even get second gear braking loss

does it matter whether the car has a rear LSD?? Would the rear LSD slip the wheels more or hold the traction better? Thanks.

With the LSD, you'd have (theoretically) twice the traction in the rear.
