why do the drivers always go unharmed? In all these tragic accidents where the driver was being irrisponsible, it seems that the passengers are always the most heavily injured. That sucks man, Im so glad to hear you made it through that one. Just goes to show you, every day could be your last because someone else wants to do something irrisponsible.

I think its kinda like the "why drunks dont get hurt theory"...

because the passenger sees the accident coming, and their dumb ass dosent suspect a thing

Dude. Sorry I didn't see this the day you posted it. I don't usually hang out in the Hangout, so to speak. I've read through every reply to this thread and the one thing that's been going through my mind since I started is...

He came out of the accident unharmed, and got out of the car ot leave me struggling upside down, bleeding, falling into the glass, screaming for help (so im told i do not remmber) to call his friends and ask them what he should do.

Kill himself.

I have no sympathy for those who engage in driving like asshats on public roads and damage their own car or get into trouble with the law. I ESPECIALLY don't have any sympathy for those who injure others in the process.

You continue to be the good guy in this scenario, Alex. Keep your head up, be mature and wish the driver the best. I assure you that Karma will see to it that "The best" he ever gets is this interim time where he can foolishly carry on as if he's going to get away with it. In my experiences, the longer you have to wait for Karma to even things out, the more extremely it does.

Now, since laughter is the best medicine, could we say the driver is about to get crankwalked?

Wow. Unbelievable. Just about the same thing was going through my head, Brian. I can't imagine why someone wouldn't immediately call for help, and own up to his mistakes. I had an experience somewhat like yours, only not as extreme, and certainly was not my friend driving like an asshat. But we flipped numerous times, and I was bruised up pretty badly, and he called for help right away, and visited me and talked every day. He felt so bad. We still talk to this day, and are GREAT friends. Some people do not deserve friends, I tell you what. Those pics bring up many memories and feelings.

I have half a mind to message him on Myspace, but he does not deserve my words, as well as anyone elses. The good thing is that you are alive and kicking bro.

I have no idea what happened i just came across the pics. I'm alittle confused how some stuff got left in the car and some out. I suppose i should have put up a disclaimer not for the faint of heart. I wouldn't have believed anybody lived if he wasn't here telling us about it.

Holy sheep shit. If I were you I would go buy a damn lottery ticket! If you showed me those pics without saying anything, I would say for sure that both passengers and the old man drinking in the garage so his wife won't find him had died. Seriously if you havn't realised it yet you are lucky to be eating solid food not to mention working on your car. Like someone else said you are one tough bastard and if I were you I would do as another poster said and beat that guy retarded. Keep us updated on the situation with you and with him.

Dude I totally know what your going through. I dumped by bike at the track last year doing 126mph, lost control and crashed, shit happens I guess.

I went through 4 operations, 8 weeks in the hopspital and 6 months off work. I'm back to work now but I still can not walk normally and have massive scars on my leg. I didn't hurt anything but my Left leg by smashing my tibia into about 50-60 pieces severing my petella tendon and losing all the skin on my leg below my knee right down to the bone.

My life sucks now because of that as I can walk in pain and limpin at best now and have no hope to jog or run for at least another year. I'm told I will make 100% recovery but it will take some time.

Stick with it bro you'll get through all the pain and re-hab and drugs and stuff. It sucks but keep your chin up. Honestly just keeping my mind active was the best thing for me. I can only imagine what your going through must be crazy.

I sold Justin that car. When he called me and told me about the accident he jsut said he walked away fine, never said anything about a passenger. Within seconds if him test driving the car i knew he was a careless driver! Im so glad to hear youre still alive. He tried telling me he swerved out of a deers way... I thought that was a little hard to believe.

Again glad to hear youre still with us, and my best wishes to a fast recovery.

Wow, I am practically speechless....I can't believe the stupidity of some people. Seems like if given the option, he would have just left you in the car to die...it seems this type of thing always happens to the good people. I hope the driver pays somehow, and how sad of such a nice car to get destroyed.
