2G How do I undo the fuel pump rewire..?

Long story short, bought an awd talon 97. Had stock pump in until it died. The car came with an evo 8 pump (Denso, I checked the numbers) and we installed it. The car had already had the fp rewire done. I believe I am overrunning the stock fpr now. I ordered a fuel pump which was supposed to arrive today, and unfortunately, has not. The next two days are my only chance to work on my car for another week. How do I temporarily undo the fuel pump rewire? Like what size wiring is the stock fuel pump wires? Thanks for any input!

the rewire relay is typically trigger by the stock wire. just put the wire back on the pump.
