how do i tune now with non stock set up?

i installed a non turbo transmision in my 90 tsi last weak to do this i had to use the much heavier flywheel. the wieght compleatly alterd the way much engine runs. i had realy high idle and a small shake .turned my timing back and is good now. not shure its the best it could be though. with extra momentum pushing the crank i dont belive stock specs are good any more and need an good scan tool that gives live data. i realy wish i had acces to a dyno. no one in alaska has one though.as far as driving i love the lower gears. dont need the top speed i just like being fast off the street light. open ended question please tell me any other way to tune non stock that will help. thanks.

never mind i didnt get any help so i did some online research. getting an ecm link for my lap top.

Word to the wise: Non-turbo transmissions are not as sturdy as the stock turbo tranny. In case you plan on upping the boost
