I just installed a AFPR and THE FUEL LINES KEEP BUSTING, I know I should use steel braided lines and I do use ALL the proper fittings, but even with normal high pressure fuel injection hose should not bust when my fuel psi gauge(on top of the fuel filter) is reading 40psi at idle. Should I set it at idle or set it under troddle.. I mean at idke it reads 40psi and then I hit the gas and it shoots to 60-70 . I thought maybee I hooked the AFPR up backwards, so I switched the lines around and the car hardly ran and the AFPR was clicking real loud, so I think I have it on the right way, I am not sure what brand it is, I think an HKS. aNY IDEAS AN WHY i KEEP BUSTING HOSES. Thanks

Hell, I do not even have my 255HP in yet, the prob will get even more f8786 up then.

Bob get a FPR install kit from SBR they are like 100.
to answer your question on how to set the presure take the vacume line off the FPR and plug it. start the motor and set it the pressure . It should be set at 38 psi and will lower once you put the vacume line back on. Sorrry if I couldnt help.

If you are still haveing problems pu the stocker back on untill you have the right stuff.

That's correct.
The base pressure (with the vacuum hose disconnected) on a 1G turbo is 36.3 psi. Once you reconnect the vacuum line the fuel pressure should track base pressure + manifold pressure.
At idle you should have about 18 in hg vacuum (about -8.8 psi) so the indicated fuel pressure should be 36.3 + (-8.8) = 24.2 psi and with 15 psi boost your fuel pressure should be 51.3 psi

Sounds like you have yours turned way up.
