how many PSI do you recomend with this set up:

how much boost should i be runnign with this set up:

6 bolt block
1g head
1g intake manifold
1g throttle body
3'' exhaust
2.5'' downpipe and high flow cat
b16g turbo
intake with piping
stock intercooler hose with 2g BOV

i have an automater boost gauge and manual boost controller. I just took my car for a test runa fter doing so much work and i had the boost hit 17 psi at one point whihc is bad, and i am goign to turn it down once i hook up my MBC.
once i get upper and lwoe rintercooler piping, what can/should i run at then.


This is all talking for daily driving, i am going to leave it at one setting.

I dont see any fuel mods. I wouldnt daily drive high psi w/ stock intercooler either.

I agree, I dont know if I would even run that turbo at 15psi. Since it flows alot more air then stock the way it is. I would get you're fuel mods then you'll be better. I would spend the money from you're licp on something else like a fuel pump, that licp wont do much.

with NO fuel mods i wouldnt not go past stock boost level 11-12psi
with AT LEAST fuel pump 13-14psi
with AT LEAST fuel pump and FMIC 15psi
with AT LEAST pump, FMIC, and 550cc injectors probably 18-20 depending on tuning

Get a set of 550cc inj's and check out the "Scanmaster 3" at www.fullthrottlespeed.com for their GM MAF-Translatr and the scanmaster. You will be able to run 20 psi on pump. mark

13 psi ... rewire the fuel pump and then maybe 14. Upgrade the pump and 16 is fine. Then time for injectors, safc, and fmic ... then 20 is fine.

go to www.extremepsi.com they have a pretty good deal on DSM fuel kits (injectors, safc and fuel pump) *mods don't edit i'm trying to help him out not advertise* you'll also need a fuel pressure regulator.
