How do i get this off?

I am swapping front cases on my car so the oil pump and all the stuff that goes with it must be swapped to the other. I am trying to reuse this 6 sided plug which is not on the other front case. This plug is on the opposite side of the oil pump and I cannot get this damn thing off. I've tried using a screwdriver and hammer, but with no luck. It threads into the case so it is going to take some force to get it out

I went to several auto parts stores and I keep getting blank stares when I ask for a tool to remove this thing. Any help is appreciated

Its a $5 part, I stock them. No need beating yourself up over the castle plug.
