Broke a 1/2" drive ratchet and breaker bar trying to break the cv axle nut loose. Never been this tough on another car. Anyone else have this problem? How did you get it off?

That is how I broke my breaker bar, using a steel pipe to extend it.

try an 8 foot pipe on the end of the breaker bar
. We had 2 people jumping on it for 15 minutes before it budged. When we were done it was just tall enough to make a stripper pole at our place
It was by far the hardest thing I have ever tried to take off 91. PB blaster for a week and what PaulN said should work
