My under hood temps are higher then id like atm and i want to lower them before we summer and it becomes an issue. I currently have only the passenger oem fan and a full ac delete, i have a fp manifold and heat shield on the way so hopefully that will help but i also want to install a second fan, i know i want a spal and probably a pusher so i dont melt any wires or the fan itself but im wondering how big of a fan i can fit with this setup? Also how would i wire it so i can adjust it in link?

Your profile says you have a 16g. When I was on a 16g I had both factory fans. I trimmed the driver side shroud and blades a little but still worked great. If you go aftermarket, I would just get one somewhat close to factory dimensions and wire it up to factory wiring.

You should be able to fit a Spal VA10-AP50/C-61A (this is a 12 inch puller) behind the radiator on the passenger side. It fits in my car, should probably fit in yours. It's a lot thinner than the stock cooling fan.

On the driver side, like Vegas said, you can put a pretty big pusher in front of the radiator but not really a 12 inch. An 11 inch fits ok.
So for that 11" pusher, you could use a Spal VA09-AP50/C-27S.
The puller version of that 11" fan is the Spal VA09-AP50/C-27A just like TK's9d2TSi showed on the driver side.

Here's something important to know about the Spal model numbers. S at the end is pusher. A at the end is puller.
The middle bunch of numbers (like "AP50" for example) is the motor. If you wonder why same diameter fans have different flow ratings, sometimes it's the motor, sometimes it's the blades (usually both). These fans with the AP50 motor are 62.1mm thick at the thickest part right in the center. They have fans with smaller motors that are thinner and bigger motors which are thicker. The AP50 is a pretty good sized motor.

You can figure out the fit by using the dimensions that Spal shows on their good drawings in the general catalog which you can download from here:
https://www.spalautomotive.it/docum...ogue.pdf/865e2f61-813e-4725-ab8f-953a937eea9b

You'll find the 12" puller I mentioned on page 52.
The 11" pusher is on page 68.

I bought mine directly from Spalusa but I noticed later that Holley has almost every model number in stock and they have lower prices. So I would maybe buy from Holley next time. Spalusa only had a few of the model numbers in stock. They apparently would rather have their dealers (like Holley) doing the selling.

I forgot there is one stupid problem with buying from Holley. They don't use the regular Spal model numbers that you see in the Spal catalog. Holley uses a "Part number" which is not given in the Spal catalog.
Holley Part number for the 12" puller should be 30101522.
Holley Part number for the 11" pusher should be 30101502 but I would check this one with customer service.
Holley Part number for the 11" puller should be 30101500.

Wow, that was so incredibly useful!
the only other question i have is how would you recommend i wire it?
I'm wanting it to be controlled automatically but also have an override switch. the only 2 ways i have found are A. connect it to the ac fan wiring and control it with ecmlink and the ac controls. The issue i have with this is when i have the fan to any level and the ac button on the car runs worse. Also the po deleted the ac so any use of the controls just blows hot air :applause: or B. use an standalone fan controller like the fal branded one that stm sells. it uses a prong to read coolant temp and turn on the fan. issue with that is, its another 100ish dollars, and i cant control it with the ecu, also it might not even work with spal fan unless you jerry rigged it LOL
Another question my current fan activates when using the ac button and fan dial. does this mean its connected to the ac fan wires?

If you don’t have ac, the stock p/s fan is all you need to keep the temp in check. If it’s not, there’s something else wrong. The p/s fan turns on when the thermo switch on bottom of radiator reaches a certain temp which completes the circuit sending power to the fan.

You can wire in a relay to power the extra fan using one of your outputs (egr or fps) as the trigger through link.

As previously mentioned, you can use the egr or fps wires along the firewall to act as a ground trigger for your fan's relay. You then have complete control over the fans operation in ecmlink.
