not for me, my car hits about 22 psi when its is set at 10.5(lowest it will go)
i have a small 16g btw. but i will show you something that seems to work pretty good.

this is basically the same as how the hahn racecraft super turbos are and my brothers super 20g held 8 psi in the cold in 3rd gear so it must work pretty good

You wouldn't want to do that if you were doing the o2 dump though. Doesn't grinding that area off cause turbulence when the WG opens?

impossible to answer that question. For some people it does for some people it doesnt. 2 ways you can eliminate boost creep. More backpressure or an external wastegate. All other solutions are hit or miss.
