Horrible vibrating

I just got my headgasket and head studs, shifter bushings, oil pan gasket, and mbc, put on/ fixed. I was wondering what would cause my motor to vibrate above 3 grand horrbile so loud i cant hear my exhaust, a lil bit later it felt like the motor was jumping back and wouldn't let me accelerate. Didn't know if i was reading knock because it was doing this even when i touch the gas and wasn't under boost. Could it be something with the balance shafts or what. Please help!

Maybe motor mount(s) are shot?

The balance shafts might be out of phase. Did you rotate them a full turn when working on them? They may looked like they are lined up, but may not be.

motor mounts being shot, would cause vibration, but wouldn't cause a problem with accelerating. It felt like i hit a wall and the motor would buck kinda and keep me from accelerating.

It's the balance shafts thanks for the help, also will it hurt to drive my car back to my friends house with the balance shafts off like that ? 5 mins drive ######. Thank you so much for the help.

That's what I figured as well. You should always put a #2 Phillips in the back of the block just to make sure the balance shaft is in phase. One extra set but the added security is nice.

Yup, my buddy drove around for a couple weeks like that. Get it fixed, but if you need to drive, go for it. Just don't beat on it, but I think you already know that.

why not remove them completly ?

The motor is already back together and i dont wanna have to wait for that crap again. It was fixed then an injector harness came undone and i thought it was the same problem blah. Car is fixed and running great.
