Hey guys, I am having a problem with a pretty bad miss at idle (where I can see the rpm needle drop) and if I free rev (with a steady pressure to the throttle) to anything under 3000 rpm the rpm jumps when the miss happens? I have check the resistance of the plug wires, changed the plugs 6es and 7es gaped them from .32 through .28, have done multiple boost leaks, voltage is ranging from 13.6 to 14.4, compression is 165, 160, 158, 165. Is there anything else you guys can think of that could be causing this? Also there are no CEL. Thanks

Bad coil pack

That was my next guess. Do the coil pack's typically go bad on these cars a lot? I am gong to test it and see if I can find someone that has a known good one to swap with in my area. Any thing else you guys can think of if the coil pack tests out good? Thanks Tom0484.
