I tried looking around and couldnt find anything like my problem anywhere else so i do apologize if this has been covered somewhere else.
So the easiest way to explain my problem will be to go through a day for me.
So at the begging of the day i go to start my car and it takes around 10 seconds of cranking and it starts up and runs fine. I can drive it around to 6k rpm with not
So i come back to my car after around 30 min and my car is so hard to start. It cranks and sputters really hard and shakes the car alot (tomorrow ill take a video of it for a better example). Most of the time once i get it started it misfires and the rpms shoot around and it dies. However sometimes it'll start up and work fine. Most of the time if it starts to sputter and crank when i try to start it ill let it cool down and it will slowly get easier.
So once im finally on the road it works alright... My speedo no longer works and i can only rev it to around 3.5-4k rpm or it misfires. So ill just get to where im going but after a random amount of time it misfires no matter what and if i continue to drive it gets worse until it hits a point where it just shuts off. However if i pull over and shut off the engine for about 5 min once it starts to misfire itll start up no issues and drive for awhile till it starts to misfire again.
This is about all the info i got. ill get videos for better examples tomorrow.

Or just type P0443 into the search bar and you should get plenty of late night reading material ;)

Problem is i dont see that EVAP causing all those problems. Also i thought about it and my mechanic said the O2 sensor is backwards or something. would that cause the issues? and i found and old report from my mechanic that has the codes P0340, P0352, P1391, and P1294. Ganna do some research on all these.

Trust me I understand your confusion on that being the cause. But it could have something to do with it. Take this example; I have removed the emissions system from my current Spyder twice. Both times, I had the appropriate EGR block off plate, plugged all the throttle body ports, and kept the solenoids plugged to eliminate the CEL. Each time, my idle was severely messed up after pulling the system. I don't know why because I know i deleted it properly. So I threw the parts back in, and the idle returned to normal. Granted mine is a GST, but the concept of the system's functionality is the same . It's still worth a shot regardless of how insignificant it may seem.

And just for shits and giggles, make sure your fuel cap is correctly, and fully screwed on. It too could cause an EVAP malfunction.

I already replaced my gas cap LOL

If your getting a cel, then you need to fix it first... If your still having issues after that you should report back to us for further assistance. I dont think its possible to have a o2 sensor in upside down?? Only thing i can think of like that is the CAS getting flipped 180degree's but i dont know if that applies to the n/a cars.

You would be surprised... Just listen to spyder for now and fix that then it could fix everything.. If not report back and ill try to help you any ways possible, also pictures help a lot some times.

Even still, it says it MAY be the cause. Start with what you can do before throwing expensive parts at it that may not cure anything. Retrace all your emissions components, and ensure that they work properly. If you have a vacuum tester, hook it to your EGR valve. It should hold 15psi. If it holds less, or nothing, replace it. Do a leak test of the engine as well. That'll tell you if there's any vacuum leaks elsewhere. And lime stated, post up some pics here so that we can see what you're looking at. They help tremendously.

In addition, keep in mind that some of your DTCs may not indicate a problem with your car. Some are triggered due to others being the real problem. Say the emissions is your problem, bad idle tracked for so many cycles by your ECU, can trigger the misfire codes or crank sensor code.

One quick easy thing you can do is take the cam shaft position sensor out and make sure there is no oil on it....my seal leaked and got oil between the sensor and the trigger and it would stutter a d run rough at weird time.....that could be an easy culprit to look at.....

Same thing happened to me.

The car would take forever to crank and it would horrifically sputter at random intervals on the highway. I got a camshaft position sensor (NOT to be confused with a crankshaft angle/position sensor) from my local parts store for $40.

After a 5-minute install the vehicle ran great and the P0340 code never returned.

Something i had happen to me was when i got home i messed with my coil pack wires and my car shut off when i touched them

Sorry to thread jack for a sec.

Dat Eclipse.

That vacuum hose that connects from the Intake Manifold and goes straight down along the Intake Piping and splits with a T-fitting connecting to the EGR Solenoid and the other vacuum hose is connected to what?

Where is this vacuum hose that I'm holding connect to? Thanks I'd appreciate it.

I'm also having misfiring/sputtering issues in my car and I'm trying to diagnose it as well.

I installed new NGK Spark Plugs, Spark plug Wires, Ignition Coil, STP Air Filter, and a battery. Idle is steady but when I give it has, it bogs and misfires.

I still need to check my MAF Sensor, O2 Upstream and Down Stream Sensors, CAS, and exhaust for leaks. Did you change out any of these yet?
