Horray stripped mani studs .. :/

Well a couple of them stripped out , I do see threads at the very end but the stud isn't exactly "going" in , feels like I'm catching on threads and then it gets stiff but I know all I'm doing is squishing around the alum in the head .


I have looked through search and it seems all the answers no one ever answers back if it worked , or it has to do with broken off studs . ( I know people are more inclined to come back if something didn't work ) .

its a 1g so 8mm , My question is this .. Attempt to re-tap 8mm since there is still some tension going in? , Order a couple 2g 10mm studs and tap for those ? ( someone give me the exact size please 10x1.25 ? ) Or try Heli-Coil? I have never had to do this on my own since I am NOT removing the head to take it to a machine shop etc. ( Which I would normally do .. )

Move from a stud to a bolt in the problem hole...
Just use a longer bolt
