Holset HX40 VS H1E center housing

I have a H1e with the bep bolt on housing. The turbine fins got bent during shipping when i bought it, so i need to get a new wheel. The turbo was rebuilt when i bought it. So my question is if i found a used hx40 could i take out the turbine shaft+compressor wheel and install it in the h1e center housing with the hx40 compressor side on it. The h1e i have has the same size compresser and turbine wheel as the hx40.
