So i have a hole in the stock sidemount. Is it worth it to take it to a radiator shop and get it redone for 80 bucks? or should i just find the hole and plug it with jb weld? or should i get an upgraded side mount?

get a Supra MkIV sidemount, it basiically bolts up on a 2g and will hold well upto or over 350hp you should be good :thumb: . sell your intercooler to some ricer or somethin tell to jb weld it up or something

absolutely not, supra sidemount is the hardest intercooler to install and requires a lot of custom work and fabricating. also does not physically fit in the front bumper, and u have to cut your uicp to line it up with the inlet

First of all the MKIV IC is not that hard to install if you take your time.
Yes there is some fabrication but it's not that bad if you have basic knowledge and know what to expect.

Depending on the hole in the IC and where it is, you might be able to get it tig welded for a lot cheaper than $80

You have a PM

this is the second time I read a post like this today. Why do people have so much trouble installing the side mount? It's seriously not that hard to install.

Dont pay 80 dollars to get the stock side mount fixed. You can pick up another used side mount for half that.
