holes in intercooler!!

while my car is incapacitated due to lack of brakes, i did a boost leak test, i found some surprising results. at the outlet pipe of my IC there are a few small holes. with something around them that looks like someone tried to weld something over them but didnt work.
can i take ome jbweld and slap it onto these holes to seal them, or should i buy a new pipe and have my cousin weld it on.

for a temp fix jb weld shoud be fine, can not hurt to try it.

They're part of the intercooler welded assembly, so "ganking" as you so quaintly suggest, becomes a bit problematical.

It should be a fine application for JB Weld. If any of the holes are more than 1/8" across, use some fiberglass window screening to bridge over them.
