i am having problems with my new hks ssqv bov not blowing off.but i was trying to fix it and while i was looking under the hood i noticed that my positive wire to my apexi AVC-R Solenoid Valve was broke offOMG and there is no way i can put it back on:mad: but i was wondering if that would screw up my vacuum lines and keep my bov from blowing off...i plan on ordering a nother one but i need to no if thats my problem or not..anybody have any advise of input???

ok i'll try that and let you know how it goes..i got the bov to blow off but i still dont think its got a good vacuum line going to it.but now when i give my car gas it starts to sputter and act like its going to die.do you know why that is?

Tap the BOV (and only the BOV) at the nipple circled in red. Do not tee anything off your BOV line.

As for the stuttering, it's probably a boost leak. Pressure test your intercooler piping.

i haven't had a chance to check yet but i reclamped all my piping from the outlet of the turbo to the inlet of the intercooler to make sure it was tight...i am also running rich but that doesn't mean much since its not a wideband:( but i can still kinda smell gas. but if its not a boost leak could it be my knock sensor.would i have fuel cut if i am just reving it and not going any where?

as long as u used the hose that knochgoon24 mentioned you should have no problem with the bov. because if it was a bad boost leak your engine would run crappy and your stock turbo gauge would be running high. more than likely (if you installed it correctly) the problem is going to be your bov.

first is thing is the hks blow off valve recirculated back to the intake pipe? i know i looked at your profile i didnt see a gm maf and maft..if it isnt recirculated into the intake pipe when it blows off you will run rich and stumble that seems to be your problem.

nope its not recirculated yet.i was planning on doing that in about a week..but if it needs to be done then i'll order one today..but would that cause my car to sputter the whole time when im giving it gas before it blows off? another think is that i was looking around today and i found out that my vacuum hose thats located kinda under the battery with the yellow dots on it was broke off:mad: and im not sure were it goes it looks like it goes to my EGR solenoid or my purge control vale but i dont know ANYTHING about those.can somebody fill me in on either of those...i'll try to get some pics up soon so u can get a better idea of what im talking about..
