BOV not blowing off

I'm having problems with my BOV not working. I don't know what the problem is. I thought it might just be a defective BOV, but then I switched it with a new one, that I know worked, I heard it on my friends car, and still nothing. They are both the stock ones, still recirculating to the intake. Any suggestions?

how much boost are you making? have you soften out the spring to like the lowest setting to see if it blows off like that? let me know if either works we can work from there

Since they are stock, then he doesn't have screw to adjust. Maybe you are just not hearing it since it is being recirculated. I find it hard to believe that two BOV's wouldn't work on your car unless you are not creating any boost.

Well the car is completley stock, so I am running stock boost. I know of a few completley stock DSMs that have a loud blow off vavle. You can hear it from inside the car. I can't even hear mine when I am under the hood.

Oh, and it is generating boost, you can clearly hear the turbo whine, it's one of the greatest sounds I have ever heard.
