Blitz BOV not blowing off at all?

For some strange reason, my Blitz DD BOV makes zero noise when it blows off. What the hell could be the cause of it? I'm running a GM MAF setup so it's vented, and my previous BOV (a Greddy Type S) was loud as hell. I upgraded to the Blitz for the noise factor obviously, but all it does is flutter. If if I loosen up the spring too much, it won't hold boost. If I tighten it up too much, it flutters more. Does anyone know what the deal might be? I run 17 psi on a 50 trim and the BOV is only good up to 18 psi. Could that be the problem? I've already bought two different Blitz BOVs and this one is brand new so it can't be the BOV itself. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check the vac line... you need a good vacuum source for it to blow off. Maybe you have it connected to the wrong nipple or something...
