HKS 264/272?

The 264 is intake and 272 is exhaust right? Where can I find these new?

There are a lot of vendors that sell HKS cams, but STM was the only one I could find that sells the 264/272 as a listed package. You could also call around to a few to get the best price.

I don't want to confuse you, but there was a time when 272 was used as the intake and 264 was used as the exhaust cam

Most people today run the 264 intake and 272 exhaust. (if you are buying cams new, not regrinds, there are far better cam choices out there)

Is it worth spending the 800 bucks on the cams(power wise), or should I put that money someone else? This is my dd by the way.

I haven't researched regrinds yet, what's the rundown?

Budgeting for a car is hard, 800 bucks can be well spend in multiple places, Turbo, fuel system, suspension/mounts/bushings, maintenance. Camshafts can be very beneficial and worth the money spent on them.

800 is a lot of money to spend on cams, then again maybe not for some people. I am currently running GSC S1 cams, which are advertised as 268/268. They are perfectly matched with my turbo, td05 20g, and were under 500 bucks from one of our supporting vendors.

People have had problems with dialing in regrinds, or regrinds are not advertised as such. I would do more research on this forum on regrinds, read what problems and solutions people have to them. Don't let me steer you away, people have had great results.

I am also running adjustable cam gears.
