high rpm in idle

ok im having a problem. im sure its not that serious. but anyways im having high rpm in idle. 2K ive adjusted the throttle i moved the throttle cable. dont really know. i had fixed it once before. but now after i rebuilt the motor its high agian. i dont know if its becuase a lighter flywheel. 8lbs and i have a bigger turbo. ported head new valves. tubular exhuast mani. dont know can anyone help?

Make sure your throttle plate is closing completely. Loosen the throttle cable and move it as far foward as you can, and see if that fixes your idle. Your BISS might also need adjusted, like stated.

check for vacuum leaks. Do a boost leak test. Throttle body gaskets are bad to leak which will cause high idle. look for vacuum hoses that might have cuts or rips in them. another thing could be your injector seals. A boost leak test will find any of these.
