I have been fighting to lower my idle & I have run out of problem areas to look - the engine idles at about 1200 to 1400 rpm - I tried to adjust it by turning down the idle rpm screw till it stops & the rpm remains the same? I have stock cams, stock intake & a vpc - no vacum leaks & the isc reads 14 steps on the pocket logger wich I guess it means its working? & when I start the engine warm it wont idle - I have to hold the pedal for a while until it idles - the only mod to the throttle body is that I eliminated the coolant lines that run to it- could that be an issue? thanks for your help guys!

yes eliminating the coolant lines #### up ur idle.

There is a wax pallet in there taht melts every time u warm up ur car. Im not exactly sure how it works but when it melts it either blocks extra air or allows it

basically just put it back to stock and it will work.

check out vfaq i think there is a right way to eliminate that but i htink in the cold u have to hold the gas or the car will die.
