high idle at start up/warm

alrght so im having a problem with my idle and everything its a fresh rebuilt motor all forged internals well the problem is when i start the car it idles normal and when i plug in the maf sensor the car idles high at 35k rpm and wont go back down until i unplug it we. We tried adjusting the tps and the fiav still does it checked for vaccum leaks all thats good i just dont know what the problem is an i dont want to risk damaging the motor after a fresh rebuild with it idling up that high any help would be apprecitated thanks

Sounds like a bad maf...
1g or 2g?

what happens when you tried adjusting the TPS, did it change the idle?

No it didn't change it at all just stayed idle up high until I unplugged air sensor

Did you ground the ecu pin outs for the isc? If you didnt the ecu wont know how much air it really needs.
