Help with Wire Harness swap issues

Ok.... i have a few question about connecting my wire harness!

I DO have pictures but im at work right now and when i get home i will be sure to post them to help you all help me better!
But im going to start by asking
I have NO clue where this one connector goes it is about 3 inches off the wires the MAF connector is on and the connector itself is about 1.1/4 inches long!!
it looks as if it is meant to plug some where near the fans or something but CANT find anything to match it!

The other is the starter cables.... the main starter power cable is black w/ a red strip that comes straight from the pos. side of the battery correct? and Also i cant find the connector on my harness for the starter! (this i will just have to look harder!)

Please help with what you can, and i WILL post pictures once i get home!

Yes the black red wire goes from the pos terminal of the battery to the starter. Im not sure about the first connector your talking about. And the connector for the starter has to be there somewhere.

Connector could go to the EGR system. I would need to see it though.

Is the connector for the BCS, how many wires are on the connector and what color is it?

Here is a picture, if it is not it, might see if you can find it from that site.

Thanks everyone for the help.. but no its not the BCS its not a two prung plug is like a seven or eight and the plug is just straight like this haha [********] and no the EGR is on the intake manifold i have that blocked off and i know its not for it anyways its extremely to far or a reach!

well they are laying people off as i speak so i might get home earlier than planned and once i do i promise to post the pics.
must go dont want to be one of the fallen!!

hmm, do you have the turbo harnes, or the nt harness, i just checked my car and there is nothing on that line but the maf and the bcs (which is why i was thinking bcs).

eee... ya i do... well i damn hope so... the dude i bought it from was completely parting out his 91 tsi fwd... everything else hooks up fine... it hooked up to the 93 turbo ecu i have with no problem... all pins matched, i made sure!

Ok, just needed to find out for sure your car was an n/t swapped to a turbo, instead of just an n/t that was turbocharged.

Is the harness on the same wire loom that the maf is on, if not then it could be the fog light connector or for pop up headlights since you said it was from a 91.
The maf loom goes to the ecu, while the headlight wires go to the main fuse box under the hood.

My car was a.. is a DL with a 6bolt 4g63t swap into it! everything is all gravy but that one plug!!
I dont' know where it goes!

I checked DSM shop manual and could not find any straight 8 wire harness in the engine bay

Figured it out, it is a plug for a 2g maf, move the tape/loom out of the way and see if it Ts into the 1g maf wires. Check this Google Image Result for http://dmtalon.v8eaters.com/94talon_old/2gmaf/1g-2g.jpg
